Since 1994, Scarpa has been bringing exceptional women’s apparel, shoes and accessories to women of Charlottesville, Virginia, making her a household name among discerning women across the country. In 2022 Scarpa was bursting at the seams, and owner Amy Gardner knew that in order to keep growing and serving her customer base she’d need more physical space. 

Amy hired Pedal to help negotiate her expansion into the adjacent retail space as part of her upcoming lease renewal (it was her eighth!) Breaking through the wall and building out the new space would be costly and lengthy, so Pedal worked with Amy to negotiate a favorable tenant improvement package as well as a timeline for rent commencement that gave plenty of cushion for inevitable construction delays. The new gorgeous space more than doubled Scarpa’s square footage and was a welcome improvement to internal operations and customer service.
