Kristina Crenshaw built a prominent retail architecture firm and is developing PopINN, a proprietary interior buildout system that significantly reduces the pre-opening time and expense for retailers and retail property owners without sacrificing flexibility or custom interior branding. She was seeking a place to develop and ultimately showcase PopINN, as well as a new home for her existing architecture business - enter, Pedal.

We worked with Kristina to develop her business plan, and in the process, we made a major pivot from pursuing a retail space that would showcase PopINN in action to a flex space with much more flexibility for product development without the requirement to open to the public. 17/27 Design Studio has a new workshop in Laurel which is convenient to Kristina's home AND has the functionality she needs - hello drive-in door!
